My dog recently had surgery and as a result his back is shaved. He was exposed to sunlight and his back turned a darker shade however it was somewhat purple! Should I be worried?

If the skin turns red, then you would worry. If you are real worried, you can purchase doggy sunscreen at your local pet store.
