How do I make persimmon pudding?

Things You'll Need:

* 3 cups persimmon, pureed
* 2 1/2 cups sugar
* 1 stick butter, softened
* 4 eggs, well-beaten
* 2 cups plain flour
* 1 tsp. baking soda
* 1 tsp. baking powder
* 2 cups milk
* 1/2 tsp. allspice
* 1/2 tsp. ground cloves

1. Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees.
2. Spray or grease a 13x9" glass baking pan.
3. In a large bowl, mix the pureed persimmon, sugar, butter and eggs.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and baking powder.
5. Add the dry ingredients to the persimmon mixture a little at a time, alternating them with the milk until all is used.
6. Add the spices and stir until everything is evenly combined.
7. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and bake for about 45-50 minutes.
the pudding is done when the edges start to loose their gloss. The center should still be shiny and moist. Do not over-bake.
8. Allow to partially cool before cutting into squares. Serve warm or cold.
