The trick to making "crystal clear" ice cubes at home is to use warm water, and be sure the water is warm **right before you place the cube molds" into the freezer. I would suggest using warm, FILTERED water, too.
When I make crystal clear ice cubes I would use distilled water since there is no particles in the water warm it and the ice cubes should be crystal clear.
